For my boyfriends birthday this year I wanted to do something completely unique. We've been going stir crazy social distancing in the crazy world of COVID-19, so I wanted us to just be able to get away for a night. I've had a lot of great experiences with Airbnb so I did some digging and found the most magical little treehouse stay!

How did I find this stay??
In the Airbnb app, under "Filters" when you go into search an area, there is a tab called "Unique Stays." You can stay anywhere from a boat to a FREAKIN CASTLE. The treehouse idea really caught my attention because it's private and romantic. The one we stayed at also had horses that we were able to feed and a bon fire to enjoy.
When we checked in we were greeted by the nicest couple who gave us an extensive tour of the area and the treehouse itself. They gave us 'Welcome' muffins and even wrote our names on the chalkboard by the bed. The personal touches, to me, make all the difference.
We spent some time photographing the place because well, who wouldn't?? And then we went and fed the horses for a while. They had four total on the property. Then I put together a little sushi dinner for us because that's Alex's favorite food. We watched the sunset and the host put together the bonfire for us. We roasted marshmallows and ate smores until we were so full we couldn't move. Then we headed back up to relax and watch one of our favorite Netflix Series (the treehouse had a TV!!)

After the best night sleep, we woke up to the most beautiful sunrise at about 6:45AM. This totally set the mood for the day. It was so peaceful to open up all the doors and hear nothing but nature.
We took showers and got ready. I cooked us up some breakfast in the little kitchenette. We drank coffee and mimosas and had just the best morning together. How many times in your life can you say you woke up in a treehouse??
I'm linking the treehouse below! It's in St. Cloud, Florida. We had the best time and highly recommend. The best stay-cation (quarentine style) ever!
